Fall has arrived and is dressed in her ball gown.

I love Fall. The smell of trees in the chilly morning air. The sound of the crisp leaves as they fall to the ground. The sight of bright yellow, orange, red, and the last holdouts of green that decorate the highways.

Cooler temperatures have hit the north and we have had to shiver in shorts until we could dig out our long pants from the spare suitcase.

Enjoy the sights of Autumn through Indiana, Illinois, and Wisconsin.

Have a fantastic weekend everyone.

Such glorious colours, some of our trees and shrubs are colouring up nicely but autumn is a bittersweet time for us – all those gorgeous colours but also a reminder that the nights are drawing in and winter is around the corner 😦

    Love and hugs

Indeed, winter will arrive all too soon. Cold winds, snow, ice, and slush are in our future. Right now, as you do, it is nice to see the bright colors of autumn. Soon enough the trees will be bare 😦

I took Joe over to your “Mount Cottage” site after I told him your home has finally sold. He was quite impressed with all the work you guys did to make that old relic into the fine home you now have.

You and Rod are in my thoughts and prayers as you go through the process of packing up and moving.

      Love you – Leslie
