Fun Video

This video is just plain adorable.

No, I didn’t take the day off.  I’ve finished June 2010 – WOO HOO – and have made the preparations to begin July.  A trip to Office Depot is required before I can get going again.  I need file folders, ink cartridges, and a couple of plastic bins.

Joe has had an interesting past few days.  He sold a camera a few years back, on eBay, to a man that lives in Sparks, Nevada.  Joe has wanted to meet the man for quite a while but has not had the opportunity or time to do so.  They e-mail each other but that has been as far as it has gone.

Thursday, Joe was in Reno, Nevada to get one of his trucks.  The other is in Sacramento, California.  The truck in Reno wasn’t quite ready for Joe to pick up so he called his friend and they met for dinner.  Friday morning Joe was able to get the Reno truck loaded then head to Sacramento for his other one.  His other truck was still out on delivery rounds.  Such is the way things go in this crazy job. By mid afternoon Joe was all hooked up and ready to leave.  His friend in Sparks called Joe and told him how much he enjoyed meeting him.  Before they hung up Joe had changed his “Road Warrior” plans and went back to Reno to have dinner with his friend once again.  This friend of Joe’s had been a Merchant Marine for many years.  The tales he had to tell fresh ears kept Joe totally enthralled for hours.  I’m happy that Joe was able to have this time to visit.

Okay, time to get to Office Depot and get my supplies.  The weather is warming up, the snow has melted and it is time to go out and get some fresh air.

Just love those dogs, they need to have time to play and just be dogs 🙂 Great video.

You are going great guns Leslie, June done and July on the starting blocks woohoo. You go girl.
Well the bramble patch is no more, with Rod’s help we cleared the last of it today. I spent almost 5 hours out there this afternoon; as fast as I could cut Rod was piling it up into a heap and we had a last bonfire to burn the dreaded stuff. Whew so pleased that bit is finished.
We have got rain tomorrow so I must get on and finish Rod’s Valentine’s card whilst planning the attack on another bramble patch! That’s the problem with so much land and not enough man power and what man (or woman) power there is is aging 🙂

What a great thing for Joe to finally meet up with his friend. He needed a a bit of ‘down’ time.

    Love and hugs
    Lynn xx

Oh my goodness!! You have rallied and mustered your forces for another campaign on the bramble patches. With heavy reinforcements, and no casualties, you have carried the day and decimated another enemy!! AWESOME!! You and Rod both deserve a hearty pat on the back and some high praise for the job well done 🙂 Was it delightful to watch the fire blazing, hear the crackling and popping as the dreaded bramble was being consumed by the fire? Bet it was 🙂

With your mind free of a dreaded task, now that it is well and truly done, you are off to be creative. I’m positive your efforts will put a huge smile on your Rod’s face come Valentine’s Day. Awesome!! You GO Girl 🙂
      Love you – Leslie

Thank you Shar. It is good to see you once again. This afternoon I have a date with YouTube. I have to find out what all is going on in the crafting forum and see what you have been up to. I am in desperate need of some creative immersion 🙂
      Love you – Leslie
