What Day Is It?

I think it is Friday. I’m not sure anymore.

The days, miles, towns, and states blur to form one huge question mark in my brain. Takes me a while to work it out.

If someone were to ask me, right now, where I was yesterday at this time they would be met with an empty expression on my face. They might even have to resort to waving a hand in front of my face and say “Hello..anyone in there?”.

So let me see…last night was Rockford, Illinois. Yesterday was at Creations Galore in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Wednesday night….somewhere in Green Bay since we delivered in the late afternoon.

Oh well, doesn’t matter anyway.

We have had a few sprinkles on us today. Light rain last night. My sister had 3-1/2 inches of rain in 24 hours and her basement flooded. Joseph, our son, is in Georgia. Through Atlanta this afternoon he was in torrential rain. He said it was a Monsoon. He is going to Florida then back up to Knoxville, Tennessee Sunday or Monday.

Joe is the only one with trucks this trip so I’m riding from Strafford, Missouri to McCook, Nebraska.

Monday we will be getting trucks out of the Oklahoma City area going to Fontana, California. I think just two again for Joe so I’ll ride some more.

We will be in California for a couple weeks. Shuffling Walmart trucks from Red Bluff, California to Pamona, California. We have 20 of them to move.

Somewhere along the line we will be going back to Fontana and get trucks going to Sacramento.

I will see my “California” daughter while we are there. Haven’t seen her since Thanksgiving so it will be good to see her.

      Hey Girl 🙂

Yikes, this weather is totally weird!!!!! I don’t remember a spring like we’ve had….well not for a long time anyway. Flash floods are horrid. Arizona has had to implement a law, titled the “Stupid Law”. Since it doesn’t rain in the Phoenix area much, mostly during the winter, the roads and bridges are built fairly low. There are major thorough fares that have been built in the flood plains. Signs are posted to not drive on the roads when there is water over the road. People do anyway and get washed away. So many do it that it has cost the metropolitan Phoenix area a lot of money to go extract them. Now if you drive into the flooded road and get washed out….you will be helped but it will cost you big time. Phoenix doesn’t foot the bill any longer. Therefore, if you stupid enough to drive into a flooded area then you will pay the price for it.

Hayley of AliceInCraftLand has let me know that she would like us to try to stop by and see her while we are there. This world is getting smaller and smaller by the day.

Congratulations on your graduating daughter. These little people grow up to become pretty awesome big people. Then they go and do something awful. They move out and begin lives of their own…..oh well grandchildren follow that and we can corrupt them then send them home to their parents. That’s the good part.

You live close to Chicago, don’t you? Maybe not. Well, in July if you are up in Chicago you can go to the CHA Consumer Show and meet the people from Scrapbook Creations out of Spartanburg, SC. That would be fun. Don’t know where we will be when July comes around….
